At the age of 3 – 6 years old, children continue to develop physically, physiologically and psychologically. Our task is to provide an environment which will allow the child to create a healthy, fully-developed personality, independence, and self-esteem. Montessori method build an environment where children are respected for their own particularity and facilitated to develop skills, knowledge and correct awareness of the surrounding world.

From 2,5 to 6 years old
We create a Montessori environment which is spacious, open, tidy, pleasing in appearance, simple and real place, where each element exists for a reason in order to help in the development of the child. The environment is proportional to children’s height and size, and it has low shelves and tables and chairs of different sizes where children can sit individually or in groups. Applying Montessori education and building a “prepared environment”, we invite children to participate in their golden stage – form themselves, encourage them to learn, develop their own self-esteem and independence.
There are four main areas in the preschool Montessori program: Real life – Sensory development – Language – Math. In addition, the program also covers some areas of culture including history, geography, science, and music. At this stage, we want to bring children excitement in learning with an environment that is carefully prepared based on a child’s developmental needs:
• Real-life skills: Practice self-care skills, take care of the nature skills. Children have the opportunity to contribute to the classroom community as a responsible individual: preparing snacks, arranging flowers, cleaning windows, taking care of plants
• Sensory Development: Introduces interesting concepts of color, weight, shape, texture, size, material, sound and smell, develops the ability to classify, sort, and distinguish – essential skills in mathematics, geometry and language.
• Mathematics: Familiarize themselves with numbers and symbols. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are introduced through extremely intuitive tools, creating excitement and better understanding for children.
• Language: Language development pervades the classroom as children share discoveries, learn new songs, listen to stories, and work with many Montessori teachers to learn letters and spelling, reading and writing.
• Culture: Introducing the world outside classrooms including geography, history, science, biology, and botany. Nature and global awareness are taught in the classroom through the use of fruits, the model of the earth, types of soil and water, animal and plant jigsaw, and scientific studies: water bodies, sink, float, seed germination, etc.
From children’s activities, we keep a child’s data through the teacher’s observations and keep close connection with parents throughout the periods of development. This create a united education where the child receive consistent messages from both parents and teachers.
